Alicia Duerst, DPT, CLT, OCS
Alicia is a graduate of St. Mary’s University receiving her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2007 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UW- La Crosse and in 2012. She began working at Midwest Physical Therapy in 2021. Alicia is Lymphedema Certified and became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 2018.
Prior to Midwest Physical Therapy, Alicia worked in Minnesota with Benedictine Health System in short term rehab, outpatient and home health therapies, with Lakeland Physical therapy in outpatient therapy as well as seeing private clients. She has also worked in medical research at the U of M and as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and with community engagement through the YMCA.
Her favorite thing about working at Midwest Physical Therapy is the positive team environment and patient centered care. Quality care and ethics always come before proceeds and profits.
Alicia was born on a dairy farm in Elmwood and raised in Menomonie and enjoys triathlons, canoeing, camping, hiking, sewing, gardening and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
